One difference between the mitochondrion and the chloroplast is that chloroplast is only found in plants. But both cells have inner and outer membranes so that makes use and plants somewhat alike. Chloroplast cells use photosynthesises to make energy rich sugar called glucose to feed the cell and store it in the vacuoles for later. Mitochondrion takes energy from the chloroplast to make ATP.
