One difference between the mitochondrion and the chloroplast is that chloroplast is only found in plants. But both cells have inner and outer membranes so that makes use and plants somewhat alike. Chloroplast cells use photosynthesises to make energy rich sugar called glucose to feed the cell and store it in the vacuoles for later. Mitochondrion takes energy from the chloroplast to make ATP. ATP is used to power the cell for other activities. There are many reactions happening most of the time. Plant cells use efficiency to make lots of glucose to grow and do other things those are chloroplast and a mitochondria
